The collection documents the baseball photography career of George Burke and possibly his assistant, George Brace, between 1929 and 1951. These oral histories were conducted by Rick Van Blair as research for his book "Dugout to Foxhole: Interviews With Baseball Players Whose Careers Were Affected by World War II" published in 1994. The original audio cassette tapes of those interviews make up this entire collection.
